Description

Finca Gascón is located near San Juan Gascón in the Antigua region of Guatemala. Felipe Contreras’s father founded the farm in 2012, and Felipe runs it today. The coffee trees grow in the shade of the forest. From the outset, Felipe understood that protecting this environment would benefit both the ecosystem and the quality of the coffee.

The farm lies between 1,700 and 2,000 meters above sea level. Across its 17 hectares, it grows Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, Geisha and Typica.

Felipe plants each variety where it is best suited within an agroforestry system. Since 2023, the farm’s entire production has been grown organically, without chemical inputs or synthetic fertilizers, using compost made on site.

Legal information: Natural-roast whole bean coffee. Best before 6 months after the roast date. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Roasted by La Base Palma SL at C/ Arxiduc Lluis Salvador, 9A, 07004 Palma. RGSEAA No. 25.003278/IB www.lamolienda.es
